"I imagine that one of the reasons people cling to their hates so stubbornly is because they sense, once hate is gone, that they will be forced to deal with pain." - James Baldwin
Fear or love, fear or love, everything stems from one or the other. In many cases, it's fear of the unknown, fear of something different so rather than "saddling up" to what we don't know with an open mind and heart, we take the habitual, what we may have known most of our lives, the perceived "path of least resistance." We dismiss, we turn away or worse yet we use word and deed to belittle, to diminish. None of this works, not in that specific instance, not as a whole.
From "hating" on other mother's for the way they choose to parent to stereotyping based on what you think you see, the bottom line is this. If you feel grounded and solid in your own being, you would not feel the need to marginalize a soul.
Love is, was and always will be, the answer.
